Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a White 2002 Chevrolet Express. Automatic Transmission. Anti-lock brakes. Rear wheel drivetrain. 119k miles. Color: White. One back passenger seat (removable). Double swing back and side doors. *No Power Seats* Manual Windows, Manual Seats. AM/FM Radio; removable back passenger seat. Four Excellent tires. Title is clear with no liens recorded. Conditions: The seats have and show wear and tears. There a tears in the front seats (passenger and driver). The tears are along where the stitches are. The passenger side rearview mirror has crack lines in it. Usable but with lines in the image. Mechanically, this van is in very good condition. As you can see in the pictures, it needs to be painted, and in order to do that the proper and long-lasting way, it might need some light body work. History: I am the second owner. It used to belong to the City of New York. Which explains the reason why the outter body is the way it is. When they decide to upgrade or downsize the fleet of vehicles for a certain department; they sell the extra vehicles to the public. And to prevent other people to misuse the vehicle and its markings, they scrape everything off; including the paint. (Not the best way, but that's the way it is). ( Stacking up the store, pickup and/or delivery) Unfortunately, the pickup truck was not getting the job done. It was too small, so I often had to make multiple extra trips; which added to costs, expenses, and time spent. So I made a list of the things that our ideal and next vehicle should have. I HAVE FOUND IT! The Ideal and Perfect Vehicle. It was a 2002 White Chevrolet Express. THE LIST 1. MORE SPACE----2. TOW HITCH----3. Legal Passenger Van for PASSENGER PLATES----4. POWER 1-. More Space---> This van is longer and taller inside than any pickup truck out there. It has easily removable seat to give you more room when needed, and is able to carry passengers when needed. (So Versatile) It also has a roof rack, which makes it easy to haul oversized and very long items, and in some cases, just more items. 2-. It has an already installed tow hitch package. (Potential more room to transport more things.) 3-. This van has windows on all sides and back, a removable back passenger seat, which makes a legal passenger van. So at the Motor Vehicle Department, we got passenger plate, which translates into cheaper insurance, able to get on parkways, versatility and more. 4-. With the potential to carry so many things, and do so much, it needed more power. This van has 8 Cylinders and is the Express 3500. More power to haul just about anything.(Help your friends/relatives move in one afternoon, and enjoy the rest of your weekend). When I first got the van, I spared no expense to get it thoroughly checked out and fixed. I replaced the brakes, both front and back. I got a complete tune-up: New spark plugs and cables, New filters (gas, engine...) etc.... After all, this one was a keeper. Next step was to get it painted...and that's when it happened. The store was not bringing in as much as before and became a liability and a money pit. So we had to close it down. As result, I have not used the van for anything in a while (nothing to transport). I didn't use it, but still wanted to keep it for a "you never know" moment. Now, I am looking for someone who can see all the potential/possibilities in this so-versatile van. Yes, it still needs to be painted; look on the bright side, you get to make it YOUR VAN. Any questions, please email us freely.
