You are viewing a very solid 1958 Mercedes 220S - 4 door. I'm selling this car for my neighbor who is a contractor. He did some work for a local who couldn't pay his final bill and in trade, gave him this car. He is just trying to recover his job costs. The car is very solid. Very little rust and is complete bumper to bumper including all factory trim. Also has the original Mercedes hub caps. The car is very complete and in very good shape. The previous owner said that it ran when parked nearly 30 years ago and has been sitting in his barn under a car cover ever since until it was moved to my neighbor's house and has sat outside since late last year. The trunk is locked and we dont have keys to it, so I'm not sure what is inside. The hood latch is also locked up and we havn't been able to get it open. I havnt tried too hard to open either because I didn't want to chance damaging anything. The original parts that are on this car are worth quite a bit alone but I dont have the time to part it out and wouuld rather it go to someone who could fix it up considering its condition. As stated previously, there is very little rust on this car. No holes that we have seen. Paint is factory. Floor panels are very solid. Seats are in great shape with very little damage if any.
