High bidder owns it. 1992 MUSTANG GT CLEAN TITLE - NO ACCIDENTS - NY INSPECTION GOOD THROUGH JULY 2011 This is the actual car from the movie THE DEPARTED and was driven by LEONARDO DICAPRIO. This is car #1 and was not cut up for camera mounts like the other mustang used in fliming. 17" Cobra R rims with good rubber and all 4 corners Ford motorsport aluminum driveshaft Freddie Brown Trans w/ shift kit 373 gears FULL Mac exhaust w/ header wrap and X pipe. - AMAZING SOUND Ford Motorsport springs sub frame connectors Bilstien shocks Kn intake Hypertech chip (space stock ecu also included) FULL Mac exhaust w/ header wrap and X pipe. - AMAZING SOUND distributer and wires intake Pioneer CD player Interior: The interior is in FANTASTIC SHAPE. No rips or burns in any of the seats. The only thing that would need to be done is putting in new door speakers and tightening u the drivers door pannel (put in a new window motor last week and didn't put the pannel on all the way yet) Stearing wheel grip is showing its age and has a nice cover on it. Exterior: For its age it's in great shape and still turns heads but it does have some minor cosmetic issues. Ide call it a 5 footer. The paint has some hazing on the driverside fender, bumper, roof and skirts - It looks like it was over detailed, not sun faded. There are chips in the paint (like any mustang) A good paint job would bring this car all the way back. There is one dent on the Pass rear corner, not bad at all. see pictures. the grill has been changed since the movie, i have the stock one somewhere and if i find it it goes with it. Pass exterior door handle broken, door still opens fine. Mechanical: Very reliable, powerful, good driving mustang. I have never had a single problem with it. Exhaust sounds amazing. Might have a small cam in it too. I do not know the horsepower, its never been on a dyno. It has never been to a track, but it's no slow pony. Might need front pads soon. Good inspection through july 2011 odo shows 54xxx miles, it has rolled over and is actually 154k. There is MUCH LESS mileage on all drivetrain parts. The car is extremely reliable and drives very well. It is not perfect but is a well maintained adult owned driver. All mods were done before my ownership. FB trans allegedly only has about 7500 miles on it, motor around 75k and the 373s somewhere in between. I have described the car to the best of my ability and i make it sound alot worse than it actually is. It's a nice soild stang with a cool history. Its not a project, but its not showroom. It's a nice daily. I reccommend seeing the car in person if possible before bidding. Winning the auction is the final price, not the right to come negotiate.
