I bought the car from a friend thirteen years ago. He had bought it from a professional restoration shop in Colorado. They had done a full body off restoration. The car had 1700 miles on it when I bought it. Thirteen years later, after driving it(mostly during Hot August Nights in Reno, Parades and drives to Lake Tahoe) I managed to average around 2500 miles a year. I have always kept the car covered and in my garage since buying it. I have never done much research on the car, I just loved to drive it. I reluctantly find myself having to sell this old friend. The car is Venetian Red. It has a four speed manual transmission, 283 Cu-In 2xBBL, block No 3731548. As far as I know the numbers match, but I would leave that up to a professional to verify. I've done some touch up paint on a few chips. The front of the hood has small bubbles from engine heat. Passenger seat has a few cracks in leather, drivers seat fine. Driver side, metal trim has a couple of small creases. White top in good shape, only been used a few times. The original spare tire still sits in the trunk. The car is not as perfect as when I bought it, but it is not chop liver either. My hope is there is someone out there whom can appreciate the car as much as I have.
