Here is one of the cleanest Rust-Free 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminators I have ever come across. This Cougar Eliminator has spent most of its years in Oregon/Washington state and still has all original floor/trunk pans with No patches. Has a 351 Windsor #'s matching Engine with less than 300 miles since being all rebuilt (Have receipts) and runs strong with only 71,700 miles on the car itself. The FMX Auto Transmission has also been all rebuilt and Have the receipts. The Original color of Competition Orange is only 2 years old and the body panels are very straight with No rust issues or noticeable dents except on the cowl, I will include another cowl cover with No dents but will have to be repainted. The Torque boxes, frame rails and shock towers are completely Rust-Free and have never been repaired. The inner fender aprons are also Rust-Free with No swollen areas and the engine compartment looks nice and clean. The Rear end has also been detailed along with New shocks and Brand New Dual Exhaust which sounds really nice. The sequential turn signals work as they should with a New Flasher and sequential Box in the trunk. The Front and rear bumpers have just been rechromed, the original trim is very nice with typical light scratches. The Rims on the car now are 15" Polished Center-Line Rims in excellent condition. The Original 14" 69 styled steel wheels which these Eliminators came with will also be included in this auction and are in great condition. If the reserve is met and the high bidder would rather have them, I will install 4 New BF Goodrich tires on them and keep the Centerline Rims. The 2 front tires on the car now are brand new 15" with only 150 miles, the rear tires are about 2 years old with minimal wear. The brakes are all new including the master cylinder. The Hood scoop/rear wing and front spoiler are all Original. Everything has been either replaced or restored except for the front end, only needs the Rear Bumper rechromed and the interior covers to be replaced with the correct comfort weave covers. Also has New Headliner, New Carpet and all new Weatherstriping. The Original AM Radio is not hooked up but will be included, I am sure New owner will upgrade. The Heater motor has not worked but a NOS Heater motor will be included. There has been over $8K in work in the last few months alone and I have kept all receipts.
