Vehicle Detail
92 Suzuki Samurai on 44 Gumbo monster mudders with 15x14 black bart steel wheels Tires are about 3/4 tread, they have some dry rot cracks, but hold air fine. I recently grooved the center tread of the rear tires. I added a picture of what I did. It was taken before I was done so you can see some of the tread at the top of the picture that is not grooved yet. It has a 1.6 8 valve engine out of a sidekick and I used the stock samurai fuel injection so it looks stock just with more power It has dana 44 axles front and rear from an International Scout. They have stock gears, the rear is welded front is open. Rear axle is rolled up for better driveshaft angle. Front axle axle is cut and rolled at the knuckles for driveshaft angle and to keep the steering camber correct. Spring pads are 3 pieces of 2x2 1/4 inch wall square tube welded together, Much stronger than using bocks. It has 3 inch springs, extended shackles, 2 inch body lift. Total lift is around 18-20 inches Transfer case has 4.16 low range gears in it and it will spin the tires over just fine though it is no speed demon. I did break the front output shaft before and I put a heavy duty front output shaft in it now. It has a heavy duty transfer case mount as well. The front output shaft is the only thing I have broken on it since the build and it has been tested plenty. Rear bumper is homemade with a 2 inch receiver hitch with running and brake lights in it. The front bumper is a winch bumper. The winch pictured will not be included. I will include it for an extra $300 over selling price if you want it though. It's a Warn 4500.I am also going to take the marine cd player pictured out of it and replace it with an am/fm tape player. I am taking the winch and cd player out so I can lower the price more, but for more money over the selling price I will include them. Winch=$300 over selling price Marine cd player=$100 over selling price. I made traction bars for one side, but never did the other side because they control axle wrap really well like they are It has heavy duty long spline driveshafts front and rear with 1310 full size u-joints, about $800-$900 worth of driveshafts I bought it about 5 years ago as a completely stock 2wd and have done all the work on it so I should be able to answer any questions you have. I'm sure I left some stuff out but that should be most of the important stuff. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding and you are welcome to come and look at it in person just contact me and we will set up a time for you to come by. The samurai does have all lights, turn signals, and a clear title, so it could be driven on the road, but I would not recommend it. I have driven it short distances on the road and around town a little. The brakes are only hooked up on the front, but don't work very well I will try to bleed them out and get them working correctly before it is picked up. Also the interior is a couple different colors because I swapped some body parts before I painted it and didn't worry about painting the interior, but all of the outside is lime green. The tub is white on the inside, windshield frame is grey as well as the drivers door, the passenger side door and targa bar and inside of front clip are blue. That never bothered me enough to worry about painting it to match. A $250 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end and full payment is due within 7 days of auction end. I can keep it as long as you need to pick it up at no charge, but must receive full payment within 7 days of the auction ending. I will deliver it to you for $1 a loaded mile according to mapquest my door to yours. This must be paid before I leave to deliver it and is a cost over what the auction ends at. If you are over 300 miles away from me and want me to deliver it please contact me before bidding it may take me a little longer to have enough time to make that long of a trip. PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE BEFORE BIDDING. I ENCOURAGE ANYONE INTERESTED TO COME AND LOOK AT IT IN PERSON BEFORE BIDDING. THE OTHER SAMURAI IN THE PICTURE IS NOT INCLUDED. The Samurai is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if it sells locally.
