1982 Datsun / Nissan 280ZX Black & Gold Edition Selling my freshly restored 1982 Datsun / Nissan 280ZX. I have been restoring her the last 3 years to be my daily driver, but now due to $$ circumstances I need to let her go. I would like another Z enthusiast to purchase this car or someone who will just take good care of it. The car runs strong, can be a daily driver, has been gone through front to back mechanically with an A+ grade. There has only been 10 miles put on the car since the restoration. The following is a list of just some items that were done on the car. All new brakes, rotors and brake cables New struts at all four corners 4 new Goodrich T/A tires on professionally restored original rims All new exhaust from manifold back to tailpipe New bushings in front end / it is solid Injectors and wires replaced Oil & filters replaced New T-top / Door weatherstrip seals both sides New carpet, console armrest lid and shifter knob New floors both sides* (* These cars are prone to rust, but the reason I originally purchased this one was due to how little rust it had. It had minimal rust on both driver and passenger side where firewall meets the floor, about the size of a dollar bill. All rust was removed and new custom 280ZX floor pan kit was welded into place on both sides, then the underside was coated with Chassis Saver, a heavy duty rust preventative & protector. The floors on both sides are better than new, very strong and should last a very long time.) Car body was sanded, primed and painted using DuPont best paint with clearcoat afterward. All new gold emblems were then applied and gold pinstripes. I have way more into the car in time and money than I will get out of it and I know that. I am setting a reserve on the car that is very reasonable for a car in this condition and for the amout of $ that has been put into it. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Buyer is responsible for pick up / delivery costs of car although I might be able to help arrange transportation. I am only selling car to someone within the USA. I do not want to trade for anything, need CASH so please do not ask. Car is sold As-Is without warranty.
