1987 Corvette Convertible This is a two owner 1987 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible that I bought from the original owner in 1991. I have owned this vehicle for 19 years and have always taken good care of it. It has been garage kept for its entire life by non-smoking car enthusiast. My interests have changed over the years and it is now time for the car to go to a new home where it can be enjoyed by others. Reserve is set low, so make a reasonable bid and it could be yours. This vehicle has a 5.7L V8, auto transmission, power windows, power locks, AM/FM cassette stereo, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, and the original owner’s manual. The mileage on the vehicle is 41k and is correct. This is an unmolested numbers matching vehicle. Mechanically it all works and needs nothing to be completely enjoyed. Gages, dash, lights, and windows are all working. The original Delco Bose stereo sounds great. The AC blows ice cold and has been converted to R34. Tires have less than 500 miles, but they are 6 years old and have some very minor flat spotting from being in storage (they should round out after it has been driven a few hundred miles). For all but the past 6 years this car was driven regularly on weekends and special events. For the past 6 years it has been mostly in storage and driven very little. I do start it up and take it for short drives every month to keep it running and lubricated. Cosmetically this car is beautiful to look at. There are some very small rock chips in the original paint here and there, but nothing to distract from the overall beauty. The bright red interior is in great shape and all original. The white convertible top is original and has no holes or tears, and goes up/down perfectly. The car has never been wrecked or damaged that I know of and the body is straight.
