This is an original, survivor 1976 Plymouth Road Runner. It was a Montana car, that was parked for approximately 18years under a pole barn. The paint and decals are all original, as is the engine, transmission and rear end. Since getting the car, it has had : - gas tank replaced, fuel lines cleaned and blown clear, new fuel pump and rebuilt carburator - tune up (plugs, cap, rotor) - recored original radiator (3 row, never gets hot) - rebuild original 4speed Overdrive transmission (rebuild done by Passon Performance) - new brakes, shocks, and tires. Also sway bar bushings and one ball joint replaced - rest of front end was solid. - factory cruise control and Infinity 4spkr, am/fm cassette deck added to the car - paint and decals are all original, two days of buffing and polishing brought it back to life. - rear sway bar from M Body cop car - ORIGINAL exhaust system is still on the car, including catalytic converter and muffler (all still in great shape - thanks to the dry conditions this car has lived it's life in) Since all that, I have put approximately 20k miles on the car. It runs and drives great ! Can drive all day long at 75-80mph and get 22/23mpg ! Took the car on 3,200 mile round trip to Spring Fling in Van Nuys this spring ! Oil consumption is 1 litre (quart) in 1500 miles. Sure it isn't a high performance car, but you can drive it and enjoy it every day ! Always gets looks and comments when taken on the road ! Note that the drivers side seat has typical wear for a 1976 car with 78k miles - it is torn in places. As well the passenger side seat has some seams coming apart. Also, note that this car has the folding back seat, which folds flat and opens between the trunk and interior. I have exported the car from the USA, and imported it into Canada. All paperwork is complete and car is registered in Alberta Canada. I still have the clear Montana title. Bringing the car back into the USA should be no problem at all, as it is a USA car to begin with - however, please check with your authorities for proper paperwork/procedures. Any duty/customs fees are responsiblity of purchaser. Shipping is responsiblity of purchaser - may be able to deliver the car, however this would have to be determined prior to end of auction. The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early should the car sell locally. I am also including in the sale of this car, a pair of NOS front fenders, as well as NOS front and NOS rear bumpers. The car does not need these, however spares are always good to have !
