1984 Volvo 240 GL Wagon 1 Owner The Best Anywhere? This has to be one of, if not the best Volvo 240 Wagon anywhere. 1 owner since new with all documentation, books, service records. I have been a Volvo 240 fan for many years. My personal 240 has been in our family for a long time, but I got the chance to purchase this car from the original 80 year old owner just recently. I had been "stalking" him for quite a while, and just recently he decided to part with the car he bought and babied 26 years ago. If you are looking at this listing, I am sure you are familiar with the famous classic 240. They are built like tanks, and with quality that has allowed many to make it well over the 300,000 mile and 500,000 mile mark. I have personally owned one with over 300k miles that still was in great shape. This car was bought new here in Oklahoma City at Leverage Volvo, the "Nations Oldest Volvo Dealership" in 1984 by a local couple. It has always been garaged, and fastidiously maintained as evidenced by the exceptional condition, and the over 100 service reciepts and records that come with the car. Anthing that the car ever needed, it was fixed. Consequently, everything works on the car, down to the smallest detail. Also, the owners were very picky when it came to cosmetics of the car. It was always washed at the local carwash, and regularly waxed. When was the last time you saw a 26 year old SILVER car with its original paint and NO oxidation? Inside, the owners regularly cleaned and treated the leather to keep it soft and looking like new. There are absolutely ZERO cracks in the dash, and it no dye work has ever been done to the pastics. The carpet is fade free, and the headliner looks new. Everywhere you look you are amazed to see such a "New" looking car. Under the hood, it is spotless, and leak free. The tires are nearly new, and in the last several thousand miles the car has also received: New brakes, shocks,Suspension bushings, Tie rods, Motor mounts, A/C service, Repack wheel bearings, complete exhaust system, battery, trailing arm bushings, O2 Sensor, Fuel Regulator, Air Mass Meter, Wiper blades, Valve Cover gasket, and much much more. If you have been looking for the ultimate Original Volvo 240, this is It. Perfect? no of course its not, after all it is nearly 30 years old, but if you want the closest thing, here it is.
