Vehicle Detail

It is for sale locally and if it sells I will have to cancel auction. I have spent the last three months trying to keep this car and get her running for the road. I finally did, for the second time, after the engine fire. The original fuel filter exploded and everything on top of the motor burned. I replaced everything needed for it to run, got a new master cyl and many other new parts, had radiator redone, it now runs and drives. If you want the avenger 670 holley that will be $250 more. Bring your carb or buy mine, drive it onto trailer. Good tires, rebuilt wheel cylinders, mag rims, FUNERAL FLOWER CAR only 55k miles on body and 9k miles on rebuilt 401! Numbers on motor verified, it IS a 401, and have a paper in car to show mileage when swapped. Only a few dings. Transmission makes a noise but works. It needs lots of things in the engine compartment, like wiper motor, booster, original wiring is gone. Heater fan gone. You will see. After the fire I just got it running again. This is a one of a kind rare classic only a few were made and probably only one or two were FLOWER CARS. Interior is very nice for its age, VERY nice. has cracked plastic pieces here and there but for the most part is is NICE. THIRD seat too. no rips in any seat. Nice door panels. BLACK ON BLACK. There was/is a title to the car, but the guy died, and it is being reworked. You will eventually receive a title to the car, but for now I will give you a bill of sale and put you in contact with the estate that I got it from. Thanks! Will consider trade for partial value of sale. This is a 71' 401 with 74 heads on it, rebuilt in 1990 and only has 9k on motor. It still has the working m12 transmission.... but as I said trans makes a little noise. This car will JUMP. It has major torque! There is minor rust on tailgate, 2 small holes. One small bit of bubling original paint behind a tire in back. a couple small pinholes on roof. the floorboards are PERFECT. very very little rust The hood and fenders were replaced at one point.... but it really is a factory 80a paint code car... spend most of its life around dead people!!! This is as close to a hearse as you can get without being one! Also, this was a 390 car from the factory, has vin X! I will have better pics later!
