Vehicle Detail

1996 Pontiac Trans-Am Perfect for the summer This is a 1996 Trans-Am that I have owned since 2001. I really loved this car and hope someone who equally loves it will buy it. I have a lot of photos to show how nice this car is, but also the few defects that have come with it's 14 years of age. It is an Automatic, and has power everything, windows, locks, steering, seats (both driver and passenger), and antenna. The seats are tan leather and the lumbar support for the driver's seat does not work, also there is a tear in the leather of one of the back seats. This car has a very loud stereo with a single CD player and an EQ. The controls for the stereo are duplicated on the steering wheel for ease. The T-Tops are functional although the lock has popped out of one of them. Pop up headlights never gave me any problems and the lights (including fog lights) work. You can see in the pictures the blemishes the car has; the crack by the vent in the dashboard, the lock that came out of the T-Top, the rip in the seat, the controls for the front power seat are popped out from the seat, and the exhaust tips on the driver side are loose and hang on an angle. I did two upgrades to the car, the wheels and the front brakes. I had Baer brakes with slotted and vented rotors installed in the front. To do this however I needed larger wheels. So I got 18 inch Elite Motorsports 5 spoke wheels and wrapped them with 275/35R18 Falken tires. This really improved the look, handling, and braking of the car. Other work that has been done: July 2002 - replaced fuel pump Aug 2005 - (at 57740 miles) had major tune up, replaced pretty much all the fluids and the belt. July 2008 - replaced both door power window motors Feb 2009 - replaced Battery with Sears Die Hard Gold (100 month warrenty) Feb 2009 - replaced rear disc brake pads and rotors Aug 2009 - A/C compressor I have the Chilton manual for this car, and a small model car that looks just like the real one, that I am throwing in with this. The photos below show the condition of the car. The problems EXTRAS If you are local I can give you the address to see where it is parked, just email me. Thanks for looking and if you're bidding --- good luck !!!
