Vehicle Detail
We have listed our very loved 2001 Honda Odyssey LX minivan in the Mesa Beige color with beige interior. It has been a great family car. We are selling because we have moved to the mountains and need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The Odyssey runs great. It has never been in an accident. The transmission was replaced under warranty at 98,600 miles and we also changed the timing belt then. It also has newer brakes and Michelin tires. Recent repairs have been a wheel bearing and the ignition switch. It has received regular maintenance and has a fresh air cabin filter. Currently, one rear power vent is malfunctioning and probably needs a new motor and the odometer light bulb is out. There is a factory installed towing package and transmission cooler so it easily tows 3,500 pounds. We have used many times it to tow our tent trailer, and in fact did so this summer. The Sony CD player has MP3/WMA capability, detachable faceplate, remote, and an auxiliary input so you can play your digital music. You can mount any smartphone or GPS on the dash mount or use the attached suction cup to put in on the windshield. There is a Honda Cargo Tray in the back and is great for transporting plants and messy kids stuff. The second row bucket seats are removable and the rear bench folds into the floor. This means you can haul very large items easily. The van is from a smoke-free home, and is garaged. The interior is very clean. As this was the primary car to transport our children, there are some carpet stains, light upholstery wear, and floorboard scratches. The exterior has minor scratches, dents and dings, especially on the bumpers. One of the hubcaps has scrapes on it. Most of this is from parking lots over the years and the occasional camping adventure. But, overall, it is in very good condition and we will miss it very much! Please message me with any questions. Note: After reviewing the AutoCheck report on the car, we see that there are two Lien/Loan notices that have to do with the title. It looks like one happened when we first bought the car and the other was two years later. We have absolutely no idea what those are about. We paid the car off long ago and hold the title. It is also registered and has never failed a smog check. On Aug-01-10 at 23:23:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Another Note: upon investigation, we discovered that the Lien/Loan notice in 2003 was because we refinanced the vehicle and the title transferred. Also, the transmission and timing belt were replaced at 96,800 miles, not 98,600 miles. On Aug-02-10 at 14:35:01 PDT, seller added the following information: The van was smogged today and passed.
