This is an 100% rust free 1985 California Chevy El Camino with 114,549 original miles. The car runs, drives, and looks great! The engine starts right up and runs extremely well. She idles smoothly, and has a really nice exhaust system. The car sounds like pure muscle. The acceleration is positive, the elco has a lot of torque. The overdrive transmission shifts perfectly and right on time through all the gears, it was just rebuilt. The brakes, steering, and suspension are in proper working order. The mechanical, electrical, and climate control systems operate like they should. The a/c blows cold. Cosmetically the car is gorgeous! The (arrow straight) body, chassis, and frame are solid and 100% rust free. The car has a a lustrous paint finish, there are no dents or major imperfections. There are some nicks, dings, chips, etc. All of the chrome is in great condition! Nice bedliner.Nice original door panels. The interior is very clean and original. The carpeting is clean. Nice dash cluster, with great readings on all gauges. The car always runs extremely cool. This temperature reading was after the car was running for an hour continuously. Brand new JVC am/fm/cd/mp3 player with remote control. The bezel the goes around the radio and climate control has a few cracks and a missing piece of plastic behind the remote. The dash is near perfect with no cracks. Behind the currtain is a full size spare with accessories. Very clean and original engine compartment. Polished American racing wheels are in excellent condition with no curbside damage. Matching set of BF Goodrich radials have good tread remaining.This is a great looking and driving classic el camino.
