This MGB belongs to a good friend of mine. It is a nice, well maintained MGB with some very rare factory options, as well as some very nice upgrades that solve some of the problems most MGB's have. 1980 Was the last year of the MGB and the last time a MG was sold in the USA. This is one of the last cars produced, and it is quite rare in that it is not the "Limited Edition" which was a misnomer in that more limiteds were produced than standard cars. It also has a Hardtop, and factory overdrive transmission that works perfectly. The paint is very nice as is the interior. NO RUST. The wheels were refinished, and it has new factory style trim rings. Some upgrades have been made that include: Upgraded electric cooling fan (the stock ones are notoriously unreliable and puny), Side Draft Carberetor (stock Stromberg was known to be troublesome), Upgraded to choke, and standard igintion to replace troublesome stock items. The trunk has also been carpeted and detailed to inlcude built in jack mounting point. Comes with soft top also, as well as a top boot cover. Runs and drives great and is ready to use.
