This is not a clone! Matching "SS" numbers and title! I do not know much about the car so I probably can't answer very many questions about it's history. With that being said, I'll tell you what I do know. I bought this car about 3 weeks ago on an on-line auction without inspecting it first (sight unseen), only going off of the description of the sellers add. It turns out that it's more work than I wanted to put into the car. I was hoping it could be a everyday driver but it will take more to get it there than I was expecting and over my expertise level of auto mechanics. (I'm a cabinet builder, not a mechanic). As far as I know, the breaks are the worst of it. Mechanicly, I understand, it's fine. I am just trying to get back what I got into it. I was told that it does run and the tranny is good but there is no battery in it and I will not go and buy one just to see for my self so, I just have to take their word on it. However, the engine does turn and is complete. Not sure of the exact mileage. The odometer reads 41,800. Who know's? Under the car is rusty and so are the wheels, which tell me the car had sat for quite some time in taller grass and wasn't moved. However, it does have August 2010 tabs on it and was told that it was last driven about 10 months to a year ago and driven to the location on the property where it was parked. The brakes seem to be shot so the car will have to be trailered or dollied from my home. This is the only way I'll let it leave my residence. The body is, from my own inspection and opinion, is really not that bad but there is rust mainly on the lower part of the car and along the back of the trunk lid with the worst of it being the lower portion of the doors. Everything else can be easily fixed. The only dents I seen is a very very small 6" long, or so, by about 1/2" wide, by about 1/4" deep dent on the far right side of the rear part of the truck lid. The top portion of the lid is flawless. The other is a small, dime size imperfection on the left side fender. Other than that, the front fenders are great. The front nose piece of the car is also flawless along with the hood and roof. Very minor rust over the rear wheel wells. The windshield was cracked while towing it home. I believe a rock flew up from my tires and hit the windshield. All other glass is perfect. As far as the interior? It's extremely clean and in excellent shape. (Again, in my opinion). The only real noticeable flaw is that the headliner is starting to sag. The interior color is that of a blueish grey. The engine is a 5.0, 305, 4 barrel. Has dual exhaust. Sorry for the poor pictures. The car is in my garage (I believe it's had enough outdoor time) so it was a little dark when the pictures were taken. Bring a trailer or dolly. CASH ONLY!!!!!! No checks! This is a excellent car for restoration, parts or racing hobbiest. I will not part this car out YET, so don't ask if I'll sell this or that off it. It's all or nothing. Thanks for looking!
