1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7 sport Coupe. "Car of the Year" in 1967. This Mercury Cougar has been in my family since approximately 1971. 2-owner vehicle with 75,960 actual miles. Car come with a original mercury cougar 1967 book manual from factory. ( CAR JUST GOT A TUNE UP WIRES, PLUGS, DISTRIBUTOR & CARBURATOR REBUILD) ENGINE IS PURRING STARTS EVERY TIME WITH ( NO HESITASION ) & ( NO LEAKS ). (Automatic transmision ) MATCHING NUMBERS condition: GREAT AA++ 4 speed automatic trasmission shifts perfect (power steering) MATCHING NUMBERS condition: has alittle play in steering wheel normal for 43 year old car ( does not sway around while driving ) (NO factory AC on this car) MATCHING NUMBERS (Interior & all equipment) MATCHING NUMBERS Interior Condition is in perfect condition this 43-year old vihicle is perfect. Carpets is new (original) & Seats are new ( original pattern & material ) surfaces are intact and the gauges, electrical, knobs, dashboard, headliner...etc are all clean very good shape). ( car needs nothing take it to car shows ) (Tires and Suspension): MATCHING NUMBERS 2 NEW TIRES & 2 other ones are good shape also ( original size & pattern protected). There are 2-sets of wheel covers, 1 is in the trunk. This Mercury Cougar also has "air shocks" that can be adjusted although I do not know how to do so. There is valve in the trunk/rear area but I cannot remember where it is located. (Condition of Body/Panels): MATCHING NUMBERS This Mercury Cougar was repainted in the late 1970's or early 1980's with no body work done. To my knowledge, all panels are original. In 1994, it was repainted and several small rust areas were repaired. Again, no body panels have been replaced. ( 2010 new paint job PEAR WHITE this georges mercury cougar xr7 has been restored/painted & undercoated for protection ) DOOR JAMS ALSO RESTORED/REPAINTED (PEARL WHITE ) to match ( SHINNY SHOW CONDITION ). (Radio): MATCHING NUMBERS Factory AM Radio. ( new antena ) works perfect (Exterior lights & bulbs MATCHING NUMBERS (Front electrical pop up light work perfect), (Rear sequential turn signals work perfect) & (Brake & running lights) all working perfect. (Undercarrige) MATCHING NUMBERS Is clean no rust visible & freshly undercoated for protection of future rust prevention This car is an eye catcher to be admired by all ( AT SHOWS & ON THE ROAD).
