Vehicle Detail
Relisted because of non-payment. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. Up for sale is my wife’s ’92 Mustang convertible. We bought the car when it was 6 years old. It had 103000 lady driven miles on it. The lady bought it new, which makes us the second owners. It now has 229085. It is fun to drive and the 4 cylinder gets great gas mileage. It has always been garaged and never in a major wreck. The body is straight. It has cruise, power windows, steering, locks, mirrors, brakes and top, lighted glove box, light under hood. and the original owners manual for the car and stereo. Since we’ve owned it , we replaced the transmission when the car had 200000 with one that had 80,000 on it. Put on a new timing belt, fuel pump, new battery, new brakes, both serpentine belts, tires, brake light, thermostat, starter, radiator, top and and new back glass window and new exhaust system. The brakes, serpentine belts, tires, exhaust, thermostat and starter were put on in the last 10,000 miles. Everything works great except the things I mention. We were planning on keeping the car but we found a newer Mustang convertible with less miles on it. The top is in good condition with the boot. The car does have some rust on it (all the way thru in some places.) The check engine light is on and has been for some time ( sometimes it goes out ), the tac does not always work. The a/c needs charged (it’s a convertible, who needs air!) The driver’s seat back is worn, the seat part was replaced when we had the top put on. The back seat has a burn hole in it. This car would be easy to restore or drive it like it is. The wife still gets compliments on it all the time. It is fun to drive, runs great, and the 4 cylinder gets great gas mileage. It does not burn or leak oil. Also, it is cheap on insurance. I have more pictures if you are interested. I am having trouble getting them to upload. I will try to add them later. Tell me what you want a picture of and I will be happy to take it and send it to you. I require a deposit of $500 and balance when you pick up the car. Thank you for looking and if you have any questions I would be happy to answer. Happy bidding, Tom
