West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this 1970 Pontiac Catalina 400 Convertible with it's original matching # and recently rebuilt 400 c.i.d V8 engine with automatic transmission repainted in a 'Pepper Green Poly' factory paint color from original Polar White and with the original owner's manual and with PHS documentation from the previous owner. The car has power steering and power brakes and a power soft top. One of only 3,686 convertibles built in 1970, the Catalina was a big car with lots of room for heads and legs with engines available from 350 c.i. for coupes and sedans to big block 400-455 c.i. for convertibles and wagons! The styling of the grille, hidden radio antenna, rocker panel moldings and protective side moldings were strictly top-of-the-line. The handsome interior includes the original Walnut grained inserts and a padded vinyl dash that has survived very well. This particular car would seem to have been garaged with relatively no sun damage and no history of any accidents and absolutely no rust whatsoever! Indeed, this car must be seen to be appreciated - the car been driven only sparingly in the last few years, the engine was recently rebuilt and has excellent oil pressure and no oil leaks, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool. Once the reserve price is met this vehicle is to be considered sold in ‘as is, where is’ condition to the highest bidder with no guaranties or warranties implied or given.
