i saw this pickup in a lot and drove by it for a year because i thought it was a 2 wheel drive. when i realized it was a factory 4X4 w/a 4spd tranny, naturally i inquired about it. this guy gave me the key and it cranked right up! all the lights worked and the transfer case shifts hi & lo 'cause that's how i had to get it up out of the ruts it was in. i drove it across the road to the gas station, aired up one tire, filled up with gas and drove it 5 miles home. since then i've put some 12ply tires on it, replaced the oil pump, thermostat, had the radiator core replaced but kept the original brass tanks, rebuilt the Holly single barrel carb., replaced the head gasket, adjusted the valves, replaced the missing 4 spoke horn ring, replaced the cracked tail lens', cleaned the reostat on the light switch, adjusted the...well, you get the idea. i got a clifford intake w/a 2 barrel adaptor and a Motorcraft 2 barrel card setup to put on it; they're still in the bag. it needs the 3X2 or 6 into 1 headers in order to use the intake. feel free to ask questions.
