This 98 S-10 with extended cab & 3rd door is a very good truck with only 133,000 miles. the combination of the 5 speed manual transmission & 4 cylinder engine makes for optimum fuel efficiency. Mechanically, there are no issues. It runs & drives perfect with no leaks or drips and has the coldest A/C I have ever felt. The stereo system has been upgraded with a Sony radio/CD player. It includes a 12 inch sub behind the driver seat and door mounted Tweeters. It is an awesome sounding system. The truck is also equipped with a rear slider opening window, a "Rugged Liner" hard plastic bed liner, and a Reese Hitch, as the previous owner used it to pull her jet ski once every couple months.The tires are in good shape, they are not new but will not need replaced any time soon either. There are several cosmetic blemishes around the body of this truck. As the pictures will show. There is a deep scrape on the hood and some bubbles in the paint . A rather large scratch on the passenger door, a small dent near the rear of the bed on the driver's side, and under the tail light there is also a dent, as well as other areas that appear to have been touched up. The driver seat has a rip on the edge facing the door. Other than that the interior is in excellent condition, clean and non-smoking fresh. We took a motorcycle trip to pick up this truck then hauled the bike back home in the truck. I was not completely satisfied with the way this truck hauled my bike. The weight of the bike brought the back of the truck down significantly and displayed a lack of power with a load of that much weight. I just need something a little bigger because I haul my bike frequently. BUT this is an excellent truck. The winning bidder need not worry about stopping at the gas station as soon as this vehicle is picked up as I will have it waiting with a full tank of gas. I don't have the time to possibly have to relist it over & over in an attempt to recover my cost. I need to sell it now. The reserve is exactly $1,075 less than the price I paid for it and the current bidding is getting pretty close to it.
