2002 Volvo V70XC NO RESERVE! Pennant Motors is pleased to present this 2002 Volvo V70XC. For those who haven't driven an Cross Country, they are about the most comfortible cars ever made. The seats are almost too comfy to describe. These also feature Volvo's proven and legendary turbocharged 5 cylinder engine.This is a NO RESERVE auction. The high bidder will OWN this car! Carfax Certified. No Accident History! Ultra-Rare Mistral Green Color. Nearly New Updated Transmission. Engine just replaced with low-mileage used unit. Rare Booster Seats NOW HEAR THIS! This car is being sold completely and positively as-is. This car has not been inspected by a mechanic. I have only driven this car, and will post my observations. Again, I am not guaranteeing anything beyond my observations. I am not a mechanic. For Your Information: The transmission LOOKS brand new. See Picture. The engine was replaced at 170,422 miles. It was replaced due to a timing belt failure. The replacment engine is used, and I was told that it has about 75,000 miles on it. The rear tires are nearly new. The front tires have about 25% life remaining. The brakes feel fine. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. The car runs and shifts fine. The turbo works well. Items That Need Attention: The front suspension feels "loose." I speculate that it needs tie rods or control arms. The A/C was not recharged after the engine replacment. I am told that it must be charged by a Volvo dealership. The exhaust has a rattle at lower RPMs. The car has several door dings and light scratches. Some are visible in the pictures. Some are not. The car has a climate control panel from an S80. It works fine, but doesn't fit properly. The interiors of Volvos are spectacular. The Oak leather seats have beautiful pronounced stitching, and are in decent shape, as are the dash and the carpets. This car has Volvo's Premium Alpine audio with CD Player and Cassette. It works and sounds awesome (actually one of the best sounding car stereos of its era). For safety, this Volvo has, of course, dual front airbags, as well as SIPS side airbags. It also has Volvo's IC Inflatable Curtain airbags as well as WHIPS whiplash protection to keep you safe in the event of a rear-end collision. The outside of this Cross Country is in decent condition and is finished in the stunning and rare Mistral Green color. The paint is in good shape. The car retains all of its original paint. The car has contrasting rugged unpainted dark blue bumpers and side trim. Please be patient while over 40 high-resolution photos load below.
