Vehicle Detail
1965 Pontiac LeMans, power convertible, original motor (326). Great classic car. Owned car since November 2001, driven very little during that time. Runs good. All original interior except radio. Spare convertible top ready for install. Krager wheels. Car has been kept in a garage during the time we have owned it, and it has been a fun car to drive. A new owner can take it to the next level. Documented history of repairs since 2001. Some repairs included: added power steering and power brakes; seat belts; new gas tank; fuel lines; springs; hoses; new motor mounts; fabricated and installed front and rear steel break lines; replaced convertible top hydraulic cylinders; replaced rear parking brake cables; replaced rear wheel cylinders; new dipstick tube; oil pan repair; replaced steering center link; replace bushings; replace swaybar end links; exhaust system; starter; freeze plugs on block; pitman arm; replaced lower ball joints; replaced upper control arm bushings; replaced both front coil springs; new paint; spot removal of body rust (I don’t know if this is a true “California” car, but there was very little rust). Salvage title. Car has been thoroughly checked out for any previous damage, none found- frame is straight. Buyer makes arrangements for and pays all shipping, and pays for mechanic review if desired. Buyer can choose mechanic for review within 25 miles of sellers’ location in California, or seller can recommend. Car sold As-Is.On Jul-24-10 at 11:55:04 PDT, seller added the following information: New pictures of the undercariage and trunk. Any rust you see is surface and easily removed... it's a 45 yr. old car. I origianlly paid $5k, and have put north of $7k in it, but no room or time for it any longer. It'll be a great buy for the right person. I like full disclosure, too, so ask any question you like.On Jul-26-10 at 20:06:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: $150 non-refundable deposit required from winning bidder. Deposit will be applied toward purchase price at time transaction is completed. Cash prefered, but other forms of payment (cashiers check, money order) must clear bank before receipt of vehicle. No personal checks.Buyer assumes all liability associated with transport of vehicle to destination. On Jul-28-10 at 15:45:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The spare convertable top turns out to be a liner for the top. 9 years and I never looked inside the box in the trunk until yesterday.
