1988 Porsche 928 S4 – 5 Speed Manual Transmission Current mileage, less than 38,000 This surprisingly excellent example of a truly meticulous maintained automobile could be yours. All mechanical and electrical systems are fully functional and in very good operating condition. The original black paint is in amazingly good condition with very few minor blemishes. Although pictures can hardly reveal the great condition of this classic automobile, there are a few issues that I wish to point out and have outlined with a RED border in some of the pictures (see the list below). Drivers Door – The change holder is missing the nickel button Console – The fully functional digital clock has some discoloration in the corner of the display window Drivers Side, Rear Seat Back – A scratch in the leather near the center of the seat back is a little over 1 inch long A list of upgraded parts: Wheels - Turbo 1 - Front 18x8.5, Rear 18x10 (unfortunately the original wheels and tires are not available) Tires - Honkook k104 - Front 225/40/18, Rear 265/35/18 4 Cross Drilled Rotors (original rear rotors available) 930 steering wheel and adapter (original steering wheel available) Recent History: Purchased by the current owner in June of 2007 with 33,266 miles on the odometer from a Tulsa Oklahoma Toyota dealer who had received it as a trade-in from the original owner. The timing belt tensioner warning indicator was illuminated and the car was sent to the Porsche dealer across the street for repairs. The Porsche dealer replaced the timing belt, tensioners, guides, water pump, then flushed and filled the cooling system. Following these repairs the car was driven directly to Michigan. All receipts from this repair and any service following are available and included. Also included and in perfect condition are the Owner’s Manual and the Service & Maintenance booklets, unfortunately there is only one door/ignition key, and no gas cap key. The goal was to keep this car forever, sparing no expense to maintain it. The most recommended Munk’s Motors in Waterford Michigan (www.munks.com) was chosen to service this fine automobile. The car was taken to Munk’s Motors for the first time In July of 2007 with 34,377 miles. A bumper-to-bumper inspection was completed and a plan created to address the cars immediate and future needs. Initially and over the next couple of years several normal maintenance services and a few notable repairs were successfully performed by Munk’s. · 34,377 Miles – Complete bumper-to-bumper inspection and service: o Complete Four Wheel Alignment o Flush and refill brake fluid o Change all engine drive belts including A/C, Air Pump, and Alternator o Major Tune Up - Fuel filter, K&N air filter (New extra spare K&N air filter also included), air pump filter, and ignition wire set. Many Bosch brand tune up parts including platinum +4 spark plugs, distributor caps, rotors, distributor grease, and ignition coils o Front and Rear wiper blades o Hood and Hatch support struts · 34,399 Miles – Complete Clutch Overhaul: This preemptive repair was prompted by a somewhat noisy throw out bearing. Not wishing to take any chances, all associated clutch components got replaced with Porsche service parts including all bearings, bushings, seals, clutch disc, and even the clutch slave cylinder · 35,000 Miles – Complete Brake Service & Lubrication, Oil, and Filter Change: including 4 cross drilled rotors (original rear rotors available), pads, and rebuild the emergency/parking braking system with all new parts.
