If you know "Jake" you are going to love this Z06! Up for sale is my 2007 Corvette Z06 which currently has 5550 miles on it I purchased it in March of 2009 with 1948 miles on it and the rest have been logged going to cruise nights, car shows and to last years Corvettes at Carlisle The 2LZ preferred equipment group ($3485 option) includes: Bose 7 speaker AM/FM Stereo with CD XM Satellite radio Power telescoping steering wheel Heated seats Auto dimming inside rearview mirror with compass Memory package with two settings Universal home remote Side impact airbags Driver and passenger luggage shade and parcel net Steering wheel radio controls Enhanced acoustic package Also optioned with this car are: Factory chrome Z06 wheels DVD based Navigation OnStar In addition to the factory equipment you will receive this car with the following items I added: Chrome mesh laser cut screens from front and rear brake cooling vents The GM chickletts were replaced by a triple chrome plated stainless steel "Jake" with red Corvette flags for eyes Stainless steel mesh front cover for the grill and air intake opening Acrylic blackout covers for brake lights, third brake light, back up lights and side marker lights. These are affixed with clear double stick VHB tape and can be easily removed...but why? I have added a factory Z06 badge the the rear of the center console behind the storage compartment The front and rear Corvette flags have a black vinyl cover over the standard flag. These can easily be removed, but again...why? The battery was replaced after I bought the car as the former owner (I am the second owner) did not maintain the battery and rarely drove the car. I stored the car all winter and kept it on a battery tender and consistantly shows at 14.5 volts The left rear tire is replaced at 3741 miles as (believe it or not) a broken scissor ended up inside my tire. I have the scissor and will be happy to include it with your purchase This Z06 was put in service in May of 2007 so the standard 3 year bumper to bumper warranty has expired, but it still has the drive train warranty in place And then there is the hood... Believe me, the pictures do not do this justice! I went to a local custom car painter (hint, he did a car for LeBron James) and together we designed the hood graphic and he painted it in "real flame" The shape of the background is of roughly the same size and shape of the ZR1 clear acrylic hood "window" and sprayed in a pearl gray. Depending on your angle it can look anywhere from silver to almost black. The background is striped in a hot orange which matches the Corvette flag eyes. Then there are the flames... The biggest problem with this hood art is people at car shows want to touch it to see if it is a decal. I finally made a sign that says it is not a decal but a hand painted piece of art. After it was painted, it was clear coated again. You will receive all of the owners manuals with the original case, two keys and fobs, instructional CD's and DVD, window sticker etc. You will also receive the front license plate mounting bracket (hahahahaha) which is unused This car has been polished exclusively with Zaino Z5 and Grand Finale. I also use the Zaino Leather cleaner and Leather in a bottle conditioner as well as their tire treatment for black, but not shiny tires The wheels are scratch and curb rash free and always cleaned of brake dust after a drive The overall condition is excellent as I hope the pictures show. There are a few small chips, but nothing one would notice unless they were to polish it and look closely. The glass is clear and perfect and everything works as it should The car has been driven well, but not hard. I have never approached the red line and the tires have lots of life in them I had the oil changed in April (Mobile One of course) and the oil life remaining is 89% as of today As stated the mileage is currently at 5550 but I will continue to drive it until it is sold. No long trips planned, so at most another 100-200 miles Obviously this is a very fun car, and how many people do you know who own a vehicle with carbon fiber front fenders, magnesium roof, aluminum frame, a floor made of balsa wood wrapped in carbon fiber and coated with epoxy? Think of the power to weight ratio of a car with 505 HP at the crank that weighs 3132 lbs This car will impress people wherever you go...not just because of your friend Jake, and not because it is immaculate and shiny and sounds good...it is because you will look so hip driving it!!! This car does have a lien so we will have to figure out how to get the clear title to you, but I do not think it will be a big deal or cause a delay I will require a deposit to my PayPal account of $1000 within 48 hours of the auction close If the car is to be shipped I will work closely with the shipper of your choice.
