Here is a Beautiful 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition - Ultra Excellent Condition - Very Low Mileage (Currently 79,537) - Non-Smoker - Ford blue and gold original two tone paint - No accidents Kelly Blue Book at over $6150! For a new Ford Explorer with the features this one has, sticker would be well over $32K. It's very luxurious... This vehicle's motor is barely broken in as I run only synthetic oils in my vehicles which makes them last forever, relatively speaking based on my experience. It runs like new! Very Recent New Tires - Very Recent New Water Pump and Belts - Very Recent New Platinum Plugs and New Professional grade Plug Wires - Nearly New 65 Month Battery - New Fuel Enhancement Chip ($199 installed) Leather is in excellent shape. Carpet is in very good to excellent shape. Generally, it's a beautiful comfortable and reliable vehicle. Vanity mirrors, power seats (driver side is full power, passenger side is partial powered for lumbar control), power mirrors, rear AC (luxury package), and read radio station and vloume controls too. I think the only option this one does not have is a sunroof, other than that this Eddie Bauer version is pretty maxed out... All original paint overall is excellent as well, roof rack could use some touch up paint on left side, but other than that, paint is excellent all around. Gold splash guards on fenders recently touched up with factory color as well (they are factory installed fender protectors). It also has keyless entry on drivers side door. On the steering wheel stereo controls and cruise control controls. Dual air bags. Factory tinted windows and theft detection system. Towing package with gross vehicle tow rating (GVR) of 5380 lbs, but never towed anything yet! Never in an accident as far as I know (never with me anyhow) and appeared new when I bought it. Locking Gas Cap - I have the original gas cap as well if you want that too. As far as I know, I am the 2nd Owner - Non-Smoker - Vehicle never smoked in as far as I know. All gauges and gauge lights work perfectly. This vehicle is as perfect as any 1998 Ford Explorer I've ever seen on eBay... Vehicle has tow package but never towed anything! Stock motor (all original or OEM equivalent parts) 5.0 Liter V8 - RUNS LIKE NEW! See the thumbnail photos near the bottom. I took over 100 pictures. Sorry for some being fuzzy. The vehicle was not waxed after I ran it through the car wash just before the photos, so it could look even better with a nice detail job... If you click the images, you will see a much larger images. My experience as far as fuel economy with the fuel enhancement chip currently installed is about 17 MPG city and 22 MPG highway. I am selling only because I have a very long commute to work and this is a spare vehicle for me and I plan to by a hybrid at some point in the near future after selling it... It's a perfect vehicle from my perspective as I have been driving it regularly to work and further will deliver it to any city in FL (for fee if we agree on a fee) or potentially drive it to other major cities providing you are willing to pay for the delivery or my air fare to return. I have owned this vehicle as one of three vehicles I drive over the past few years and owned it since it had about 46K or 47K miles on it. It was there when I bought the vehicle and appears to have not been used at all when I bought it and I have never towed anything with this vehicle. Note, the color of this vehicle is a deep blue and gold but is being washed out here (almost looks greenish in this photo) as camera is catching a reflection of a large green bush to the right... I put them on a couple months ago and they appear new still. They cost ~$650 for the full set installed... The rear tires still have the little rubber mold burs on them, that is how new they are... Fuel Saver Chip Enhanced - I have added a fuel saver chip to this vehicle and it improves gas mileage by 10% to 12% based on my experience with it. I will remove it if you do not want it on the vehicle. It is the small blue item at lower left of steering wheel. I kept it out to show and tell with friends, and can tuck it up under the dash if you like, or remove it. It is a $129.00 item, so totally up to you whether you keep it on the vehicle or not. Vehicle has towing package although as far as I can tell, nothing has EVER been towed with the vehicle. It has overdrive switch on the shifter shown here at upper left of this photo. The tow hitch appears to not ever have been used since when I bought the vehicle, it had ~47K miles on it and appeared to not have ever had the tow hitch used, and I have never towed anything with it as I have a F250 diesel for towing things anyhow and.. Point being, I think this vehicle is capable of towing about 5380 lbs (see VIN tag image 2 images below for details) in gross weight but has not ever towed anything. Motor and transmission run like new. The most weight this vehicle has ever seen as load is 4 people and a few suit cases. Most of the mileage I put on this vehicle was highway as well as I have a very long commute to work and used this vehicle as my commute vehicle 75% of the time.. The vehicle has a CD, cassette, AM/FM radio with power antenna that automatically goes up and down when radio is turned on. Click image for large detailed image. Center console has a command center has mileage & economy computer, driving range computer, oil change status, vehicle check and status indicator, and more... 2 cup holders and a cell phone or change holder too... AC control center is very nice too as it has climate control by computer. Set the temperature and the computer controls the temp and fan to minimize noise. AC works perfectly too. Click image for large detailed image. Motor is 5.0 liter V8. Runs like new!! This has been very well maintained. Very recent new water pump, fan belts, plugs and wires. I only use full synthetic oil in my vehicles, change my oil myself, and change it about every 5000 miles or so even though the oil is rated for much greater mileage than that. This motor runs like new, quiet, no knocks or odd noises at all. I promise you will be very happy with this vehicle.
