Vehicle Detail
1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon115,461 MilesEverything OriginalHistoryI am the second owner of this 1976 Cutlass Salon. I bought the car in 1982 with 52,000 miles on it, and drove it until about 1986. Since then the car has sat in the garage, my son drove the car from 2005-2008 as a daily drive and it was than returned to the garage and has been sitting in the garage since.InteriorThe interior has a little bit of wear on the drivers side but little to none elsewhere. The interior door belts have been pulled out of the door but can be replaced. There are some carpet tears on the drivers side but none elsewhere in the car, there are also some tears in the seat on the drivers side as well. Otherwise the interior is in good shape, the dash is still in good condition. The drivers side seat is a power seat, and is extremely comfortable as is the rest of the car. I have never been more comfortable driving a car than when driving this Cutlass.ExteriorThe body does have some rust spots that have developed, and will probably need to be repainted as the rear paint is starting to chip off of the car. There are no rust holes on the car and the body is in pretty good condition with only minor dings or scratches. This car has never been in an accident and everything on it is original, the rear vinyl pieces of the car that have come off (by the rear tires) can be ordered online at http://www.autobodyfillersusa.com/servlet/Categories?category=Oldsmobile:CutlassEngineThe engine is a V-8 350 4V which is all original. The engine has never needed any major repairs and still starts up and runs very smoothly. The car is in very good running condition. The only issue is that the timing seal weeps when the car is sitting for a long time. Other than that this car can be a daily drive if needed.PaymentAt the end of the auction there will be a required non-refundable $300 down payment on the car. Pickup or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
