I have made a gut wrenching decision to sell my Goldwing. The house needs a roof and some kitchen remodeling and i don't want to borrow and can't save enough so here it is. This is the nicest bike i have owned and it took a long time to get it. I can not think of any driving issues in need of repair. I put a new tire on the rear in October and during the winter i replaced the fork bearings. I am an old mechanic and couldn't stand to leave the oem belts on it any longer so i replaced them while i had it tore down with oem belts. I also replaced the fork seals the second time and used oem seals and the leak dissapeared. Also when youre in that deep you put on a new windscreen, the old one showed signs of peeling. Now for the bad news,"DO NOT BID ON MY BIKE IF YOU ARE WANTING A SHOW BIKE IT IS A DRIVER." Every trunk i see with a luggage rack is always cracked and mine is to. They are the first thing you grab to force the lid down or when the old lady rolls it off the kick stand and youre chasing it, see pictures please. Also there are scratches on the right side from it getting out from under me on an oil road in the rain. Twenty years of riding and never droped anything and then i drop my Wing, i cried for days. Heart disease has left me lighter and weaker and if reverse didn't work i couldn't ride it. I also put a front tire on it last month and between the tires and fork bearings it rides better than ever. Everything in the pictures comes with it plus the drivers helmet with speakers and mike. It presently is being repaired as I somehow managed to pull the wires off the right speaker . The helmet shown is a small with the intercom in tact for the passenger. If repairs fail on the (large) drivers helmet i will get you a new speaker/intercom if required. Radio and tape deck work fine and it is supposed to be wired for an additional source. Because I am selling it i tried out the cb. radio and it works but is stuck on channel one, or i don't know how to change it. There is an air hose for airing up things in the right saddle bag plus tire gauge&plug kit. The panel switches to out going air when required and airs up or deflates the rear shock as needed. Cosmetically i am still looking for a wax that dosen't turn white in the grain of the tank and glove box cover, the bike did not and does not sit outside. The jumper cables were in the saddle bag when i bought it and they go with it also. The coustom seat is suppose to be jelled and the back rest can be removed or leaned forward.
