For auction is a nice 1976 Volkswagen Bus/Transporter. It runs and drives nice, but could probably use a tune up. It leaks a little oil. It has a clear title. It was painted by the previous owner three years ago. Still looks good with very minor scratches and bumps. I purchased new seals for the two Front doors (not installed but included), a new windshield seal (professionally installed), Sliding door seal (installed), Engine door seal (installed), and back hatch seal (installed). I also purchased a new antenna (installed) although there is NO radio. There is a plate where a radio should be. I don’t believe there was ever one installed. New tires. The bus was empty when I bought it. I purchased all the seats and installed them. They are not new, but look good. The back most bench seat is in fare condition with some seams starting to separate. I also have seatbelts, included but not installed. The bus did not come with bumpers which I also purchased. They are not new but refurbished and look very good. There are minor things in the interior such as tears in the headliner that were addressed, but it could use a new one. Some of the panels were missing and were replaced with wood like paneling by the previous owner. The steering wheel looks like it was cracking and a black epoxy was placed on it. The windshield wipers work, but the wiper washer fluid reservoir is not present. I never needed it so I never purchased one. They are fairly cheap. All the glass is good, no cracks or chips. The lights and signals all work. The gas gauge does not. Ask all questions before bidding. Secure financing before bidding. If you are local and want to inspect the Bus I would encourage you to do so. No allowance will be made for any defect present during the auction after the auction has ended. Sold as is, where is, with no warranty. This is a 34 year old vehicle, anything can break at any given moment. I will assist in loading it on a truck or trailer, but it is your responsibility to secure transportation and cost.
