Vehicle Detail
A true barn find! This 1959 Lincoln Formal Sedan was literally pulled out of a barn about a year ago by a friend of mine. I believe there were only 78 of these made and not many survive today. All of these were black. It has the original 430 V-8 4v engine. The engine turns over freely, but has not been started. The electric windows and locks are all operational. The motor on the front seat works, but the seat does not move. This car does need a total restoration, but is very rare! There is some rust through, mainly around the roof, where it attaches to the body. There is also some surface rust, but for being in a barn with a dirt floor, it’s not as bad as you might think. The chrome will need re-chroming, but most of the stainless polishes up nicely! The original fender skirts are included as are the 4 original hubcaps. No, it is not a dual air car. It is missing the compressor. Actual mileage is unknown. The last picture is not this car, but is the same type of car and depicts what this one could look like if restored properly. This car is being sold “as is, where is” with no warranty written or implied. It will have to be trailered to it’s new home. This car is located in Corpus Christi, TX. It is being sold with a “Bill of Sale” only...no title. All payment must clear before the car is picked up.
