2000 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0L 6 Cylinder Automatic 4WD No dents, but some rust around the rear doors (see pictures) Tires are at about half tread. Interior is nice with no tears. Engine runs good and has never given me any problems. The transmission slips on hard acceleration. I put a new HiFlow muffler on last fall, and the check engine light has come on since. I don't know if it's related to the muffler or the transmission problem mentioned above. I also found a power steering leak. It seems to be leaking at the power steering cooler. All in all it has been a nice vehicle for me and my family, but with money being tight, we chose to sell rather than putting money into having it looked at.
