shiftyone Store Please read entire auction text, watch entire video, and look at all pictures before bidding! Up for auction is my personally built CR500AF. It has a 2002 CR125 frame and a 1991 CR500 engine, as well as a David Bailey graphics and plastic kit. It has a pro taper triple clamp as well as fat bars, and a pro circuit silencer. It also has an over-sized front brake rotor for increased stopping ability, newer sprockets, and a brand new Dunlop rear tire with one run on it. Having completed this bike not very long ago, I took it out to test it for the first time yesterday, (July 17th, 2010), and it ran/worked great! I took it on a quick 30 mile ride and didn't have one issue. There is a video below with clips from the riders point of view as well as other shots of the bike in action. The donor bike was a 2002 CR125. The only problem that it had was a bent left side radiator. It does not leak in any way, and does not hinder the performance of the bike at all. You can see what I am talking about in the pictures below. The engine is from a 1991 CR500. I used this year due to the throw back graphics and plastics, and simply because the engine starts, shifts, and runs perfectly! I also have a 1997 CR500AF (not for sale), and this engine shifts/runs as good if not better than that one. Aside from the pictures of the bike in the desert, all pictures were taken this morning, July 18. 2010 in front of my house. A Millermatic 140 Auto set welder with Spool-mate aluminum attachment was used for all welding fabrication. I do not have a pink slip for this bike. What I do have is a bill of sale as well as a completely filled out loss of title form from the previous owner. Simply take it to the DMV and it will be transfered into your name. Simple as that. This is a no reserve auction. It is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied in any way shape or form. The new owner takes full responsibility with what he or she intends to do on this off road motorcycle. I will not crate this bike up for shipment, but for $75 I will drop it off at a forward air terminal if so required.
