1998 BMW R-Series

This is a 1998 BMW R1200c, It's Canyon Red in color. It has ABS (currently the lights will not go out) and has new tires (still have the nubs on them). The oil and filter has just been changed. Has a Cee Bailey windshield. The chrome is in very good shape the only minor pitting I found was on one of the side covers. Paint is a 9 out of 10 with a couple of minor surface scuffs here and there, NO DENTS. It runs good and handles great. It has a after market (Zetchnic) sissy bar/pad with built in helmet locks (has its own key). The luggage bags are inn good shape but not perfect/new, insides are clean, no cracks or repairs, the locks use a different key that the ignition, they are conveniently detachable Everything in the indoor photos comes with it, BMW pull out luggage bag liners, R1200c BB cap & T-shirt, battery tender, the original rear fender rail, a oil filter wrench (socket), the OEM handle bar grips & some misc parts, a BMW repair manual and the OEM owners manuals. The tool kit is complete and still under the left side cover. This R does not have heated grips. These bikes are becoming very collectible. Since the ABS will not clear despite a few home mechanic blog suggestions I tried I am basing my "no reserve" price on the Non ABS R1200 just to be fair. If I were keeping it I would take it in and track down the fault but I would add that cost to the price. If you are a good BMW mechanic you can save some $$$. KBB puts this year bike with the equipment on it and the low mileage (most 98's average mileage is around 50K) at appx $5,700 Title is clear. No reserve. I would possibly trailer the bike to a 1/2 way or delivery point up to 200 miles of Tulsa, Oklahoma or anywhere between Tulsa and or the St Louis, Mo area ( I have family I can visit after delivery).
