You are bidding on a 1982 Honda GL 500 Silverwing Cruiser/Touring motorcycle in excellent condition-both mechanically and cosmetically. Less than 26000 miles on the bike...People who know these motors know that this bike will easily exceed 100,000 miles before major overhaul is needed. Only minor problems with the bike are end of clutch handle broken off.-does not effect driveability. And trunk lock mechanism does not function. Bike starts easily and runs great EVERY TIME in any weather. Nice aftermarket white paint and brand new front and rear Shinko tires. Already has oil filter adapter installed to allow the use of readily available and low-cost GM oil filter. Recent maintainence includes oil change, Carbs have been cleaned and synch-ed. New choke Cable. New air filter. Included with the bike are one of the two saddlebags I have purchased since the purchase of the bike (needs painting), OEM trunk. Nice aftermarket seat that is very comfortable. Also includes motorcycle cover, mesh helmet carrying stretch strap, Honda published service manual (rare), and my clean and polish supplies for the bike.
