ALTERNATE SIDE OF THE STREET PARKING CHAMP -1989 Suzuki Sidekick- Alternate Side Parking Champ PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. SOLD AS IS. 151K- miles. I bought this car a few months ago but don't have the time to fix it. Automatic transmission is not functioning properly when car warms up through 2nd gear and gets stuck there for a while before it will shift up to 3rd. I drove this car home 60 miles+ and it did great on the freeway but once I hit local streets where I was required to stop at lights, stop signs and for pedestrians things became a bit of patience contest. It takes between 30 and 90 seconds for it to shift out of 2nd... That's a while, sometimes a very long while. Probably needs a new transmission. Transmission was replaced at 50K miles so this is number 2 for this lil guy. I move it every 2nd and 4th Thursday and Friday from one side of the road to the other and since it is cold, it's a very rewarding experience. Take a good look at the photos and remember PHOTOS make things look BETTER. This car is 21 years old and although it was driven just a little each of those years, there are no indications that this car was overly pampered. Medium Scratch front driver's side quarterpanel, Large Scratch/Gouge Front Bumper Cover passenger side. Dukes of Hazard style exit is cool for the driver as you will already be rolling down the window to reach the outside door handle to let yourself out. Paint shows sun aging. Interior carpeting is EH and seats are all in the process of declothing themselves. Now for the good stuff.
