1989 Honda Gold Wing

Up for bid is my 1989 GL1500 Goldwing. It is in very good condition for the year. It has all of the available options for that model year - reverse, cruise, AM/FM/Cassette, CB, 4 working speakers, etc. Add-ons are many chrome pieces, amber colored ring of fire, riders backrest, extra tall winshield, custom painting with pinstriping and luggage rack. I put two new tires on it in April of this year - E3's. Changed the oil and filter in April (Mobile One Synthetic). New battery in June. This Goldwing runs great and rides nice. I am selling it because I bought another Goldwing last week. My intent was to keep this one until it had 200k miles but I couldn't pass up the deal on the one I just bought. I would not be afraid to ride this anywhere. I was going to ride it to Mt. Rushmore later this summer. I ride this daily to work and for fun in the evenings and on weekends. I acquired it in July 2009 with 112,562 miles and it now has a little over 128k. One drawback is it has a rebuilt salvage title. This did not bother me because I was aware of the history of this bike. Owner number one had it until around 2000 when he knocked it over with his car in his driveway damaging many of the plastic parts. Of course the insurance salvaged it even though there was no structural damage. Owner number two bought it and replaced all the broken plastic. I have the pictures of it before he fixed it and some of the receipts. He replaced the timing belts at 105k miles. He kept it until early 2009 when he sold it to owner number three. It was too big for owner number three. He traded me this Wing for my 1998 Shadow Ace Tourer - even up. That was last July. Like I said it is a great running bike. Local pick-up only.
