Up for auction is a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Convertible.. I purchased a year and a half ago for myself and my wife - and we find that we rarely drive it...We have 2 kids and its just easier to get in the suv!! I will put everything I know about this car - I hate to get rid of it - but difficult financial times has forced me to...The car is in overall great shape!!! Oil has been changed recently as well as a tune up completed... I put new tires on last year as well as new brakes...so mechanically - no problems...As for the body of the car - there are some small stone chips on headlights and front part of hood.. normal for this year... There are a couple of small dings on the passenger side behind to door... there is a scratch on rear bumper about an inch and half long... I tried to represent these in the pictures... The convertible top works great - no leaks.. I also have the protective boot which goes over the top when it is down - just makes the car look cleaner when top down...the interior is good.. a few little things...driver side door panel has a small crack in it - again normal for the year - passenger side is in great shape... Driver seat showing a little wear and a small tear - but very patchable..again nothing serious..Also - the headliner inside had a small circular tear in it - so I patched it to keep from spreading... It does not leak - not in the canvas top - but the thin layer of headliner...Overall car in great shape...One thing - the remotes for the key fobs will have to be reprogrammed from dealer - I changed the battery in the car last year and for some reason - the remotes stopped working.. I have 3 of them and 1 key...the dealer here wanted $150 to program them - and since most of the time I drove with town down I did not see a need to spend the money...Air conditioning works great - as well as all of the power features of car.... It has the Monsoon Stereo with CD and it sounds great!!! Sometimes the right power window will give me a little trouble going up... It will probably need a new motor eventually... Again - not a big deal....Engine and transmission are sound!!! No leaks - shifts perfect - runs perfect!!! This car really moves!!! A couple last items...Headlights and power antenna work perfectly on this car..Very common to see them not functioning well - but they work great here!!That is pretty much everything.. .I am listing this with a reserve - far under fair market value!! I can assist in transportation if needed - My wife works for Airlines so I could potentially drive it to you for a fee - and I could fly home...something to think about..I am a fair person and my 100% feedback speaks for itself!!! I have had this car examined by a cert GM mechanic - and he said that this car was repaired perfectly.. .No problems to worry about!!! I have personally driven this car at speed of over 100mph and it never shakes / shimmys or anything!! It drives perfectly... It is a lot of fun to drive and it is also a real head turner...
