1998 Honda Shadow

I have two motorcycles and can only ride one at a time, so I am selling my 1998 Honda Shadow 1100 Tourer (VT1100T). The Shadow 1100 Tourer is becoming quite a collector's item as Honda only manufactured it for five years form 1997-2001. The "ACE" stands for American Classic Edition. Harley-Davidson tried to take Honda to court over this bike because they said it infringed on their design (the Road King) and the "Harley Sound". I was told by the previous owner that the enging has less than 10,000 miles on a complete rebuild. No documentation was provided to me to prove it, but the bike runs so well I had no reason not to believe him. It does have the usual scratches and nicks in the paint that a bike of this age would have and some small rust spots on a few chrome pieces. This bike has never been a "Trailer Queen". It has added Cobra rider floorboards with a heel/toe shifter, passenger's backrest, Cobra engine guard with highway pegs, the stock windshield has been replaced with a larger model and has driving lights added. I am opening the bidding at a low price of $2,000 with no reserve. Payment from the winning bidder will be through PayPal unless other arrangements are made prior to picking up the bike.
