Short of any buy it now buyers, this car will SELL to the high bid! Let's start the bidding at just $1...... Up for auction is a dealer trade in 1996 318I Cabrio. The exterior is white and is SUPER CLEAN ans still shines up nicely. Interior is a light tan and is also very clean. It has a clean, clear title with no issues ready for another owner. I have driven this car around town and on the freeway and I will say that the Dinan intake and exhaust add power, sound, and fuel efficiency- I'm zipping around and getting near 40 MPG in the freeway. Overall it's not perfect but is still a nice little driver, especially considering what you can get for your money here on eBay motors versus shopping retail. We specialize in eBay sales because it is a fast and effective way to sell hundreds of cars at once to a larger audience than we have here locally. Walking around the car, it is quite clean. The paint is in good shape without any fading or clearcoat issues, and it is good looking from any angle- look at the pics! The car has a couple of parking lot dings as one would expect, but nothing serious- our dent removal guy would get it perfect for $150. It is super dry, no rust at all, and looks straight. The interior is also clean with leather seats, good carpets, and door panels. The seats are all in great shape, with only the rear headrests showing a little wear from the sun, which is common. It's hard to believe this is a 96, it's been very well kept. The rag top goes up and down manually, and when up you can see some wear. It has 2 holes that were patched with black silicone and the rear window looks like it was replaced and siliconed in as well. Mechanically it starts, runs strong, and drives strong. The transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. There are no check engine lights or drivetrain issues and it has not leaked anything onto our concrete here so it has no evident leaks. The suspension on the car is soft and shows the wear that 159K miles will put on a car- you might want to put in a strut or control arm. The previous owner said that he disconnected the climate control because the blower motor was overheating and shorting the system out. Since it is convertible season, we haven't done anything to that but were able to see here on ebay that blower motors sell for as little as $60 for the part.
