This car is sold "as is" and is in great condition. It has a retail book of over $24K. For a buy it now price of $21K we will perform a full service, have the car professionally detailed, take out any minor imperfections in the body and paint (if any exist) and make sure that this vehicle is in as good of condition as possible, and still sell it for $3K under its clean retail value. This is a beautiful low mileage 911 Carrera 4 that is the CLEANEST 1990 we have ever had in our inventory. Overall this car is in better than average condition from exterior, to interior, to mechanics for a 1990, and the upgraded factory wheels and mirrors make it the perfect 964, in my opinion. This car also features an upgraded rare factory color combo which make it unique amongst most of the 964's still on the road. This car has the look and feel of a new car- it's really hard to believe it even has 94K miles, which is still only around 5K miles per year. This car recently underwent a Pre Purcahse Inspection at the local Porsche dealer in Salt Lake City and the inspection yielded the results we expected for this well cared for car. Mechanically everything on this car is in good working order. There are no check engine or mechanical warning lights. The AC blows COLD and the transmission shifts smoothly. The cruise works, all the power options work, the sunroof works great as do all the power windows, and all roll up and down really quickly and smoothly, like brand new. All the interior trims are in practically flawless condition- the nicest interior we have ever seen. All the leather us supple and clean and free of tears or serious wear-it is all virtually perfect. All the rubber seals outside the car are supple as well and the original paint is amazingly clean and shiny- no rust, no issues at all. It is extremely obvious that this car has been garage kept its whole life and well taken car of by particular hands. The engine looks to be well kept and runs without any knocks or noises. This car does weep a small amount of oil- very typical of any air cooled Porsche, but it's less than most 964s (we have bought and sold 20 plus of these cars) leaving just a small spot after a good drive. Even the Porsche mechanics agreed that re-sealing these engines is normally not worth it as they will start leaking again within a few short years. Any seller telling you they have an air cooled Porsche that does not leak any oil is probably not telling the whole story unless he is holding a receipt for a rebuild. The gaps on this car are awesome and the doors open and shut with that magical sound that only Porsche can produce--this one still sounds like it did off the factory floor. The speed actuates spoiler works exaclty as it should, and in 1990 you got the option to manually drive it up and down as you please, which is really cool.This car drives great and still has a lot of power and tons of life left in her. Other items to note on the car- it has a recently updated cd player that is HD, MP3, Satellite, and Ipod compatible (see ipod hook up in the dash photo). It has brand new pirelli tires, which are softer rubber for colder weather. The exterior as mentioned is super clean- there are one or two finget tip sized parking lot dings, nothing a PDR guy can't handle, or ours will take them all out for $150- or if you use the buy it now we will include that in the price. On the rear plastic bumper there is one small scuff- hard to see but up very close it is there- it will also be taken care of for the buy it now price if you chose that route. Other than that, this car is pretty much perfect in our opinion and well worth over $20K. It looks to have been someone's weekend toy- why not make it yours!
