For Sale: 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 No RESERVE!!! No Rust Ever!!! Your are viewing one of the nicest cougar XR7’s in the country. This car has been a Florida car “ALL” its life and was “ALWAYS” stored inside the gentleman’s garage. The 351 Cleveland was rebuilt approximately 8 years ago and has less than 10,000 miles on it, it purrs like a kitten! The complete drive train has been maintained and you could drive this XR7 anywhere. This Cougar is an original XR7 and has never been built up or raced. The only thing that doesn’t work properly is the factory air. The body and interior is in mint condition and the underside is just as nice. The paint is very, very nice, but I wouldn’t say show condition. The color is Brandy Wine with small metal flake (It really looks great!) and the American Racing Vintage Tor q-Thrust “D’s” look just right on the car!
