This is a great opportunity for someone to get into a mid year at a great price. 1963 corvette convertible,This was sort of a barn find,it had been sitting for 18 years next to a barn in the bay area california covered up.I bought it last year as a rolling chassis,and began to collect parts for it.I located a guy selling the complete drivtrain from his 65 corvette and bought the engine,trans,driveshaft,radiator,and all the accessories.I drove the corvette before pulling the engine and trans,and it runs perfect,shifts great,etc.The engine is an early 010 350 4 bolt main,with forged pistons,custom roller cam,dart heads,with all the original accessories down to the ignition shielding,correct 2 1/2 exhaust manifolds,350 hp intake,fuel filter,tach drive distributer,original valve covers etc.It looks like a 340hp 63 engine bay.I have $5000 in reciepts for the engine rebuild and there is less than a 1000 miles on the engine.New clutch,muncie m21 with correct reverse lockout shifter, redline tires on new ralley wheels,Brand new side exhaust 2 1/2,used original side exhaust covers and correct rocker trim.Comes with correct 63 seats,convertible top,(new top in box),full set of bumpers,lights,brake parts,nice steering wheel,emblems,door handles,misc small parts,complete headlights with motors(need rebuild).Body is in good shape with all original bonding strips,small left rear wheel well damage,may have had some front clip work? Previous roll cage,so fiberglass has some holes that need to be patched,The birdcage is great with minor surface rust,can still see a lot of green primer.The frame is very solid,right rear kick up has minor rust,but nothing major(california car its whole life).This car needs someone to take it to the next level,paint,minor body work and interior Most parts to complete.This was original daytona blue on blue with white top.Clean california title on non op.Please feel free to ask questions,will help load onto truck for shipping.
