Looking to sell my 1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5spd, 6bolt motor, 4bolt LSD rear, no sunroof, or ABS. Rare teal color with gray cloth interior. Close to bone stock, has an ACT 2600 clutch, K@N airfilter, and some aftermarket wheels. Its all original, never been wrecked. Has 128k miles on it. I bought this car probably 4 years ago and just kept it as a third hand car. This car is definitly a project car. The only maintence ive done to it is oil changes, fuel filter, and transmission fluid change.. thats it. Compression is in the 150-160s.. have pictures. Car does need work.. this is what is wrong with it.. remember its still a good driveable car... i would part it out but i would rather let someone else try and make it a good car... anyways.. problems with it.. -All stock boost levels.. engine runs fine, no misses or leaks, but %60 of the time it wont build boost, it feels like the turbo is working in reverse, so when you expect to feel the car take off(~3k rpms), it doesnt, it slows back down. Does this often, then sometimes it boosts great, just like stock. No misses, or smoke. Could be turbo, boost leak, clogged intecooler, wastegate, etc. I never had the time to check it out cause i have 4 cars already :(. -Engine could use a good once over... check vacuum hoses, maintence, etc... since i havent done it already. -Car is muddy, i took it to a camp ground and it is muddy underneath. Good wash should take care of that. -Stock exhaust, this previous snow storm the exhaust broke off right after the cat and before the muffler. So the car is loud. -Brakes need work as in, rotors and pads... nothing hydraulic related. -AC doesnt work. -Passenger window is slow when going up. -Rear hatch struts are blown. -Rear trunk area is missing the carpet and some trim. -Front windsheild has a crack. -Comes with those chrome wheels, there nice wheels, good tires, but some might not like how they look. -Exterior body... rear bumper has scuffs and a cut(i have spare same color bumper to go with), passenger fender/door has some creases, hood is still dirty and is missing the washer fluid nozzles, gas cap is different color, and i think thats it, look at pictures for more detail. -Ceiling carpet needs replacing. -Fuel guage doesnt work. -Theres 2 holes in the door jam, the size of pennies, i have no clue how those got there.. see pics... doesnt leak since when door is closed its covered. -Maybe an axle going bad, maybe, i thought i heard clicking while taking a turn, its not crankwalk so calm down :). -Wiper blades. -Maybe some other SMALL things im forgetting. I believe thats it. Still a decent car, i would drive it a far distance as i still do once n awhile. Suspension feels great, nice and stirdy. Transmission doesnt grind. Clear title in my name. Selling it cause i have no time to fix it up and im loaded with 4 cars as it is. No reserve, im not looking to make any money off it, just want to let it go to another person who wants to fix up a DSM :).
