This is a solid 230 SL that has had a lot of money spent on the mechanics and it now needs cosmetics. In 2004 $9000.00 was spent rebuilding the engine and transmission. I have the receipts for that and lots of maintenance receipts. The car has approximately 14211 miles since the rebuild. Runs and rives great but needs cosmetics. Boday: Paint looks good but could use a paint job. The body and undercarriage are in good solid shape. Chrome: In very good shape. Some small dings on grill surround. Interior: This car came from the factory with leather seats. Seats need new covers. Carpet has been replaced and is in excellent condition. Headliner on the hardtop is very good. Convertible top has a hole on the right side that could be patched. Wood is very nice. Heat control knobs are in good shape. Mechanics: Both engine and tranmission have been rebuilt approximately 14211 miles ago and are in excellent condition. Car runs and drives great. This is a great car that needs cosmetics.
