I am selling my 1987 Turbo T WE4 WO2. I bought this car a few years ago from the original owner out of Florida. Only 1547 of these cars were ever made. Hemmings did a great article about the Turbo T in December of 2006. I kept every stock part incase anyone ever wanted to return it to stock. It is a very nice clean car. I added a front mount intercooler, hooker exhaust, LT1 MAF and translator, air intake and scanmaster. I also have a extra dutt neck Intercooler as well. The paint looked decent but the hood had begun to check. Instead of just stripping and painting the hood, I had the entire car repainted with BC/CC and wet sanded/buffed by a professional body shop. The paint looks amazing (see pics). I did not have the jambs, engine bay or trunk repainted. The underside of the trunk lid has begun to be prepped. I had the interior redone with the 2 tone GN seat covers. This is a very nice looking and driving Turbo-T for the money. The car has 142,000 miles on it currently. Drives like 42k though. The car runs drives and shifts great. I don’t have time to enjoy the car and need to sell something to free up space and cash for other projects. I have only driven it a few times in the past year. The AC does not blow cold, it will need rechargerd. Everything else on this car works as it should. Here is some info taken from an original 1987 Turbo-T sales brochure: "Regal Turbo Power is taken beyond the Grand National legend...take a closer look at the Turbo T package (WE4)" "FEATURE: Lower total body weight Benefit: The turbo T package (WE4) will enable you to merchandise a car similar in appearance, and yet lighter in weight, than the Grand National. This reduction in weight theoretically, makes the Turbo T faster than the grand national; and for a lower price. " "Feature: Appearance package Ordering the regal with the Turbo T package (WE4) gets you the "dressed Black" look of the grand national with subtle "T" emblems on the front fenders. " "What brought about the Turbo T concept The WE4 package was originally concieved because certain content items, such as chrome steel wheels and specific interior components, place the Grand National in a weight class which is capacity constrained.
