1955 chevy truck very custom and nice 8,000 miles since road ready have taken it on several 200+ mile trips with no problems front suspension: clipped with from frame off a 1999 s-10 blazer everything with 3 inch drop springs. everything is brand new ball joints, tie rods, calipers, rotors, bearings, bushings, rides very nice rear suspension: spring hangers, springs are off a 98 chevy half ton truck all rebuild and painted. has 3 inch lowering block and 2 inch ground force lowering shackles. rides very nice steering: new pump and steering box uses original column and wheel with custom steering rod and work to mate up to the new steering box. steers great engine: is 1986 model 305 with one rear seal and remanufactured less than 8,000 miles. brand new 600 cfm edelbrock carb, new hei dist. new hedman s-10 swap headers, new one wire alt, along with new water and steering pumps. and brand new alum radiator with new cooling fan and resivoir tank. driveline: transmission is only thing used on the truck it is a turbo 350 with the orignal parking brake converted for the shifter. has small leak comming from pan gasket. driveshaft is out of a chevy van and has been cut and balanced. rear end is a ford 8.8 rebuilt from a 1999 ford explorer and has POSI and disk brakes. has 18 gallon alum gas tank between frame rails and a mr gasket elec fuel pump. has power brakes and disc on all 4 corners rest of truck: has new electronic wipers motor and new arms and blades. the seat is a 3rd row seat out of 2000 suburban. front windhield in great shape and has new rubber around it. wheels are 20's in rear and 18's up front and are brand new along with new rear tires, fronts are used and in great shape. has brand new chrome headlight rings and front running lights. the cab has had rusty metal replaced in the floor and cab corners. i wired the truck to run to one car show and have just left it since then and have no problems, however i do have a new wiring harness and fuse block for the truck no installed yet. i have brand new one piece window kits for both the doors but not installed, and the seat is just sitting in there-not bolted down. has brand new carpet in it. hood is off a 1957 truck and has louvers. the firewall has also been smoothed and looks great. currently tagged and inspected runs great would drive anywhere. get complements and looks everywhere i take it it has no real rust issues but will require a little body work and panel fitment to look perfect
