Other Auctions Contact Us Shipping Details Payment Details About US Auction Info Returns Click Image To Enlarge Click Image To Enlarge 1998 1/2 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab 24v Turbo Diesel 4WD Descriptionbc093 Offered for auction is a 1998 (1/2) Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab, 4 wheel drive, dual wheel pickup truck with the 24 valve Cummins Turbo Diesel engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Overall this truck is in very good condition and runs great with only 187,000 miles on it (almost all highway). Be sure to scroll down and click on the 50 thumbnail images to see detailed pictures. You would have no problem getting in it and driving from Pennsylvania to California. The auction shows pictures of a 2001 Alpenlite Silverton 11' camper installed in the truck that was sold in another one of our auctions and it is not included with this auction. Our consignor is the original owner of the truck and has all the service and repair records for it. It was just inspected in April with no problems and is ready to go with a clear title. There are a small area of surface rust at the corner of the front bumper on the drivers side and the left side of the bumper just recently got caught on a post and pulled it out of whack a little bit (see pictures). There is also some body molding on the passenger side in front of the wheel that is damaged and the rubber molding between the running board and drivers door has become detached (see pictures). The engine shows a little oil on the pan and underside but it doesn't leak or leave a puddle at all. Front tires have less then 2500 miles on them but the rears will need to be replaced soon (all four passed the current PA inspection). The transmission was fully rebuilt at about 160k miles and it had new batteries installed last year. It was purchased with the custom white sport package (grill, bumpers, tail light bezels) and has a custom sport hood with the faux hood scoops. The rear suspension has been upgraded to support the camper. There are Happy Jacks installed to the front side of the bed that are not being used and a full Tork Lift Camper Tie down package has been mounted to the frame and rear bumper (See pictures). The bed has also been reinforced to help with the weight and torque of the camper and the camper tie down package will be left in place for the new owner. Also included is a Reese Tow package with a 24"-41" extension bar that extends beyond the camper and allows you to pull a trailer as well, extended driver side and passenger side towing mirrors and a set of front fog lights have also been installed. The interior is also in very good condition with some minor stains here and there but again, nothing bad at all. None of the seats are torn or ripped and everything inside works as it should except the AC and a set a floor mats is included as pictured. As to be expected there are some incidental marks, scratches, dings, etc. that go with a 13 year old truck, inside and out. Again, the auction is for the truck only and the camper was sold in a separate auction. It is available for local pickup in Perkasie PA 18944 (Click Here for a Google Map) or you can arrange your own transportation with a car shipping company. If you would like to fly into Allentown PA or Philadelphia international airport and drive this home we can help accommodate that as well. We are requiring a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the auction end and arrangements for the balance need to be made within 5 days.
