I have owned this 1988 Buick for 9 years and I am the second owner of it. I bought it with 34,000 miles on it now has 85,000 miles on it. The engine is in excellent shape and runs great, but the body is getting rough. As can be seen in the pics there is a lot of rust on the body, and the drivers side door is the worst. The drivers door has had sheetmetal riveted over the door and painted, but that is rusted through now too. This car has never been stored in a gargage, ever, so that is why the body is so bad. The drivers door window does not roll down, and i rigged the door up to open with a vicegrip, becasue the handle broke on the door. The windshield has a crack in it, but the crack is done cracking, I have driven it for the last 5 years this way. It needs brakes, but does stop fine the way it is. The interior is in surprisenly good shape, just needs to be vaccumed and cleaned. It does have a pontiac steering column in it instead of Buick, I replaced that a few years back after having had problems with the column. I am a mechanic by trade and this was my winter beater for the last 9 years. I only live 5 miles from work, so that is why it has so little miles on it. Honestly, besides all the cosmetic problems and the exterior of this vehicle it is a great runner. It has a functioning air conditioning and heating system that will heat or cool you right out of the vehicle. I honestly have never had problems with either of those systems with this vehicle. The engine runs perfect, no abnormal noises, ticks, or any problems at all. A new fuel pump was installed in the fuel tank two years ago. If nothing else it is a great buy for somebody looking for a good GM 2.5l engine. Any questions please email I am asking $500.00 but I am willing to negotiate, and will take offers.
