For sale is a 1973 Saab Model 96. We bought this hoping to finish the restoration but just don't have the time. It was inside but we had to bring it home and it sat here outside for a few years. It needs a good home and someone who will bring it back the rest of the way. The front end was hit by a deer so a temporary grill and hood had to be put on. The fender needs to be finished. The frame is solid and there is NO damage from the deer strike other than what you see. There is very little rust. Just at the bottom corner of the drivers door. Very solid car otherwise. Original blue paint. V-4 engine and 4-speed tranny. Condition issues: Because it has been outside the moisture etc, has caused some things to get stuck. The heater control cables need WD-40 and the hood lock and hinges need oiling along with other things the moisture and humidity can cause. A tree branch fell and dented the roof at the forward passenger side. The front needs to be finished. Needs a fuel sender in tank. The good stuff: It runs and I drove it around the block the other day. The brakes are a bit rusty so stopping was interesting!! We have tons of spare parts. Another engine(V-4) 6 Transmissions!! Starters, alternators, bumpers,glass,a good grill with emblem, 2 hoods, valance, engine parts of all kinds,interior parts,lights, instuments, a dozen rims with tires hubcaps etc; carbs, radiators and way to many other parts to list here. You have to see this car and its parts supply. The odometer reads 61,000 or so but I DO NOT if know if this original. Can't remember. This would be a good project for someone without having to go real deep into it. It is so close to being finished. The reserve is set at 1200.00 dollars. The parts alone are worth this.
