Vehicle Detail

$1.00 and NO RESERVE!! You are bidding to OWN a 1983 Ford F-100 pickup truck that is a daily driver, it is licensed, titled, tagged, insured and driven daily. THIS WAS THE LAST YEAR FOR THE F-100!!! The bullet proof 300 cubic inch, 4.9 liter straight 6 was rebuilt about 9,000 miles ago (at 130,000 miles), I have driven this truck daily and have driven it as far as 300 miles within a day. I have never needed to drive it further but I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere!! The 4.9 liter was such a strong motor that Ford built it for almost 3 decades! According to the specs, the motor has 120HP @ 3200RPM, but 250 #/ft of torque only at 1600RPM, which makes for a towing machine, I have towed my boat and camper with this truck, don't expect to break any speed records, but it will get the job done and at much lower RPM than a 302! I bought this truck from a friend to help him out of a jamb, but then I kindof got used to it and held onto it for awhile. The truck has the C-6 auto tranny which shifts smooth from first to third, but jumps alittle when going into fourth gear. The truck is pretty basic with roll up windows and no tach, although it is factory equipped with A/C, it is not working at the moment. It is equipped with dual exhaust which sound very good through the straight six, also with a Leonard diamond plate tool box and the bed looks very good for being a work truck. There is a wireless, flip down CD stereo in the dash hooked to a single Pioneer 6X9 speaker, which gets the job done if you are into stereos. There are only 2 small spots of rust through on the truck, both are at the very rear of the bed, I have shown the worst side. It has a bench seat with 3 sets of seatbelts, the glass is all good, it has a sliding rear windshield, all the lights work, head, tail and brake, even signal lights! The passenger side door has some dings/dents, but other than that the body is very straight, the dash pad is craked and broken, but LMC has them new if you are so inclined, also the gear shifter needle doesn't move to tell you what gear you are in, but if you have half a brain you can tell which gear you are in, the rotors may need to be turned down the road but are fine for now,...in fact, I have a new SUV and when I need to go somewhere, most of the time I just hop in the ole' Ford truck and drive it! It is currently tagged until April, 2011 in SC and I will continue to drive it until the winning bidder comes to pick it up. There is a 3 minute video of me driving the truck, if you are interested...give it a look! I loaned my buddy $2500 against this truck and since I have had it for awhile and don't need it, I thought someone out there may be hurting for a really good work truck, so Good Luck! You know...it is one thing when you have to trust someone elses word about a truck, it is another when you can see for yourself the truck running and driving and braking! http://s265.photobucket.com/albums/ii235/mannpower-restorations/?action=view¤t=FordTruck1983007.mp4 Now, if you do not intend to pay, THEN DO NOT BID!! This is not a game to me and this is not a joke either, I am 100% confident in this listing and will stand behind the truck as described, so if you win, the you are expected to pay! Ask any and all questions, and remember, you can fly in and drive this truck home!On Jun-29-10 at 04:32:53 PDT, seller added the following information: The reason I took a picture of the brake booster and master cylinder is because they are both new/reman units that I replaced 2 months ago in April, also replaced one of the rear wheel cylinders. DO NOT BID if you have 0 or less than 10 positive feedbacks unless you email me first, otherwise, I will cancel your bid, I am getting pretty tired of people who think that this is just a game.On Jul-03-10 at 05:17:56 PDT, seller added the following information: -The stereo has a wireless remote that is included and works fine and it is a CD player, MP3, WMA player, and the brand is a Dual. -The tires are descent for what I use it for, the rear tires are a little better than the front. -The title is in my name and in my hand, it is ready to be signed over to the new owner. ****This is a great truck for the money, I really hate to see it go since it is great for a work or farm truck, but I have 3 other vehicles and I can only drive one at a time! So, good luck!
